The processing technique used in production of Orthodox teas differ based on the types of tea being produced, but generally contains withering, rolling, oxidizing, and drying the tea leaves.

(iii)Oolong tea : Ooolng tea is a partially oxidised tea that lies in between black and green tea in the matter of flavour and caffeine contain. It is usually rolled into special shapes and has a floral and fruity aroma.
(iv)White tea : White tea is made from the newest grown buds and unfurled leaves of the tea plant, which are carefully hand-picked and withered quickly which prevents the leaves from oxidising .White tea has a delicate and sweet flavour which consisits of higher antioxidants .

(i)Darjeeling: Located in the foothills of Himalayas in west Bengal known for producing high-quality black, green, oolong, and white with particular floral and fruity flavours.
(ii)Assam:Located in Northeast India mainly known for producing strong and malty black teas.
(iii)Nilgiri: Located in the Southern states of Himachal Pradesh which produces tea with distinctive flavour which is often described as nutty, with a hint of citrus.
